Miller Sets Visits

Tory Miller helped his stock with a strong summer with KC Run GMC. Now the New Hampton School power forward sets out on his visits looking for the right college fit.

Tory Miller spent the summer proving himself to college coaches. Now, the shoe has moved to the other's foot.

Suitors will play host to the talented Kansas City big man in hopes of receiving his commitment. Arizona State (Sept. 13), Iowa (Sept. 20), Colorado (Oct. 5), Marquette (Oct. 12) and Miami (TBD) are on the agenda.

Miller said that he goes into his visits with an open mind.

"At this point, I'd have to say that all schools are even," the 6-foot-8, 240-pounder from the Hampton School in New Hampshire said.

Miller trimmed his list to five. He eliminated offers from schools like Arkansas, Nebraska, Penn State, Wichita State and Providence.

"I'm really just going on these trips trying to find out which school I feel most comfortable at," said Miller, who runs with KC Run GMC.

Miller is a prototypical power forward that the Hawkeyes would love to land in this class. After watching him in Milwaukee last month, he ranks high on my list of players I would like to see Iowa snag. He's a vocal leader and runs the floor well for a big man.

HERE are some highlights of his game that I shot in Milwaukee.
