One of the best players in the country for the 2016 class is Sicklerville (NJ) Timber Creek wide receiver Cameron Chambers.
Chambers has spearheaded the way for Timber Creek this season as they enter the playoffs as the top seed and a favorite to walk away with the championship.
Individually, Chambers has had a stellar season. He's recorded 29 receptions for 700 yards and 7 touchdowns.
He already has offers from top schools including Arkansas, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin. Iowa joined the group a few days ago as they extended Chambers a scholarship on their tour throughout the top schools in the northeast region.
Chambers is very familiar with the Big Ten conference and likes what Iowa brings to the table.
"I was happy to get another offer from a top school," said Chambers. "Iowa is a Big Ten school and they have had success. It gives me the confidence to keep working hard at my craft and good things will continue to happen for me."
"Iowa has a great coach and great stability with their program," he added. "They play a tough style of football. They're focused on winning and so am I."
The early four-star sophomore knows enough about Iowa to want to check out the program in the near future. The conference appeals to him.
"I just really like the Big Ten and it now has grown to the area where I live in now," Chambers noted. "It covers the northeast part of the country now and prospects in this region have taken notice."
"Iowa is a school I want to visit," he continued. "I want to make sure to give all the schools considering me an honest look. I don't want to miss out on a school I might fit in well at."
Recently, Chambers has visited Ohio State for their showdown with Penn State. He has received interest from both schools and expects an offer from each at some point.
This week, Rutgers will get their turn as Chambers will be in town to see the Scarlet Knights in action.
