2015 Lincolnshire (IL) Stevenson wide receiver Cameron Green added another offer to his collection recently when Iowa issued a scholarship his way.
The three-star junior has also received offers from Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, and Boston College. The offer from the Hawkeyes came on Monday and Green is thankful for the options he's been afforded.
"I was very happy and blessed to receive such a big offer," he said of the Hawkeyes. "I'm very happy and fortunate to be in this position with these kinds of opportunities."
"It's a great program with great coaches and great players," Green added.
Green went into detail about his interest in Iowa.
"I definitely want to visit Iowa," he explained. "The coaches are great there and I know two players that go there currently in Mark Weisman and Reggie Spearman. Something has to be special there since everyone I know who has visited them likes it a lot. I'm teammates with Nick Dillon and he likes Iowa too."
Despite his serious interest in the Hawkeyes, Green wants to advance through his recruitment with patience.
"I'm not sure if they are one of my top schools yet since I'm just waiting and enjoying the process," he admitted. "I definitely want to visit soon though and I'll be sure to stay in contact with them.
