Harding Hits Hawks Camp

Cory Harding has visited Iowa on multiple occasions for football and track. Last weekend, the instate speedster attended the Hawkeyes football camp. The Norwalk product reflected on the experience.

A busy summer of football camps kicked off Sunday for Norwalk's Cory Harding. The instate running back lined up with other prospects at the Iowa event.

"I did really well. I caught a lot of passes and did well against the other recruits," Harding said. "We did pass rushes against the linebackers then ran routes against them."

The 6-foot, 190-pound Harding qualified for the Drake Relays and last month's state track meet in the 100 meters. He's visited Iowa on multiple occasions.

"I feel that they like me. Every time I go up there, they are happy to see me. I got good feedback from them and it looked like they were happy to see me. They congratulated me on how I did at state. We also made small talk," Harding said.

Harding also is being recruited by the Iowa track program.

Harding reports that he'll be at Iowa State's camp Saturday and again on June 14th and 25th. He'll return to Iowa Sunday and June 22nd. He's at Northern Iowa on June 15th, South Dakota State on June 30th, Drake on July 9th and the LeVar Woods camp June 27-28.
