HI TV: Clemmons-Dickerson Match-Up

NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa - In a much-anticipated match-up of Iowa point guards in the Prime Time League Championship Thursday night, Anthony Clemmons got the better of Trey Dickerson.

Clemmons, a junior, scored 26 points, dished out six assists and grabbed six rebounds. The Michigan product knocked down a huge three-pointer late in his team's 114-111 win.

Dickerson, an incoming sophomore from JUCO, netted 13 points to go with six assists and three boards. He missed all six of his three-point attempts.

Clemmons' squad was missing Hawkeye center Adam Woodbury, who was on a foreign basketball trip. He seemed highly motivated to show Dickerson he was not ready to give up minutes this winter.

Dickerson features extreme quickness and displayed it Thursday. He did struggle with Clemmons's strength at times.
