HI TV: Hawkeyes, Fans Celebrate Purdue Win

Watch the Hawkeyes celebrate Saturday's victory at Purdue with the Iowa fans who made it to Ross-Ade Stadium.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Louis Trinca-Pasat is a man of few words. He let's his play talk for him.

The Iowa senior has shown an affinity for celebration, however. Saturday, after a sack during a 24-10 here against Purdue, he hopped up, put his hands together in a praying form and bowed, martial arts style.

Trinca-Pasat also has shown an appreciation for the fans that travel to watch their team. Last weekend at Pitt, and again Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium, teh defensive tackle gathered teammates and charged them over the the Hawkeye faithful in the stands so they all could sing the fight song.

HI recorded the celebration after the Big Ten opener Saturday. The video below shows the team charging over to the fans and then singing the fight song. Enjoy:
