Anunoby Says He'll Commit "Soon"

Ogugua Anunoby expected to use five of his official visits as recently as last week. Things changed after his stop at Indiana this past weekend. The Missouri wing said he's ready to make his decision soon. He talked to HI about it.

A week after setting up his fourth and fifth official visits, Ogugua Anunoby changed his mind. His official to Indiana this past weekend drew to a close his campus trips.

"I think I'm done with officials," the 6-foot-8, 200-pound wing from Jefferson City (MO) said Monday.

Anunoby previously spent official visits on Iowa and Georgia. He planned to see Ole Miss on Oct. 18 and Gonzaga on Oct. 25.

"I haven't officially canceled those trips but I plan on committing soon," he said.

Asked if he was considering the three schools he officially visited, Anunoby said, "Yes, but Gonzaga and Ole Miss can be included with them."

Anunoby said he has seen and heard enough from the schools to make his choice.

"I'm going to just keep thinking about it until I'm ready. I told the (college) coaches not to come to any more of my workouts until I make my decision so I can focus in it," he said.

Anunoby does not have a set date to announce his commitment. He said he'll go public with it when he's sure of it.

Indiana played host to Anunoby beginning on Friday. He's been speaking with fellow Missourian, Juwan Morgan, a Hoosier pledge in the 2015 class.

"Indiana went pretty well," Anunoby said.
