"It was pretty fun. I enjoyed my time up there, and I really liked the facilities and coaches. They made me feel really welcome," Walker said.
The young gun stands 5-10, 180-pounds and learned a few things about the Hawkeyes while on campus.
"I didn't know that they had just built the new facility and that it was a 35-million dollar facility. I was impressed with that," Walker said.
Of course, standing out from the rest of the new facilities was the state of the art weight room.
"The weight room was huge. It was really nice. I also liked the players lounge and the locker rooms," Walker said.
As for feedback from the coaches, Walker got some very positive news.
"They said they were very interested in me and they want me to come back for a camp. They told me I had a good chance with them. I am looking forward to just showing them what I can do and hopefully getting an offer," Walker said.
He added, "I am excited about just getting ready for fall and my junior year. That's going to be a big deal."
