Two on Hawks' Wish List Set Visits to Iowa City

(*This is an HTO TheInsiders Club FREE Preview story*)
One of the top offensive linemen and tight ends who have been offered by the Hawks have set dates for official visits to Iowa City. TheInsiders.com's Josh Clark has the details ...

I learned Wednesday that two players with Iowa offers have formally set trip dates to Iowa City.

Offensive lineman Phil Trautwein of Eastern HS (Vorhees, N.J/) has set up his first official visit, and the Iowa Hawkeyes will be the lucky host.

"I will be officially visiting Iowa on December 12," Phil said. "I spoke with Coach Ferentz this summer. He wanted me to call him so he could get to know me. He let me know how high I am on their list."

Trautwein will be setting up the rest of his visits soon.

Meanwhile, I also heard from tight end Tom Santi of Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, Tenn.) that he had set up his first official visit.

"I just set up an official visit to Iowa for September 20th when they host Arizona State," Tom said. "Nothing else has been set at this point."

Santi is a very athletic tight end who currently holds offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Colorado, Vanderbilt, and Louisville.
