Iowa offensive line shook up in the Rose Bowl due to health of Boone Myers and Ike Boettger.

Iowa's starting offensive line in the Rose Bowl was shaken up as they dealth with health concerns to Boone Myers and Ike Boettger. The opening day starting tackles were limited in bowl prep and did not play their usual offensive tackle spots against Stanford. Instaead of Boone Myers at left tackle, it was Cole Croston. Croston was the normal right tackle at the end of the season.

Sean Welsh played right tackle, a spot that was typically occupied by Croston or Boettger. Myers did play some left guard. The Rose Bowl offensive line, the same five that paved the way against Northwestern earlier in the season, was not up to the task against the Stanford front.
