St. Louis (Mo.) University running back Andrew Clair holds two offers, including one from Iowa. The Hawkeyes have been no stranger to Clair who has already visited several times. He was in Iowa City again for a few weeks ago for the elite junior day event on campus.
Having been to visit Iowa as much as he has, there wasn't anything that was going to surprise Clair but that did not take away from how well the trip went.
"There was nothing that was really new to me," Clair said. "I still loved everything about it and every time I come up it feels like it's the first time. They show it off like it's the best place in the world even though it's the same things being shown to me."
The couple things that stand out to him about visiting Iowa are always the same and it was not any different a couple weeks ago. Iowa impressed Clair yet again.
"The coaches catch my attention every time," he admitted. "I also really like the player panel. I didn't hear anything different this time around but this time all the coaches knew me and I was treated like I was basically part of the family."
"We didn't really talk about committing," Clair added. "Iowa doesn't seem like they are the ones that would pressure me into committing or anything like that. They want me to enjoy my process, but while I enjoy it, to not forget about them."
Committing has crossed the mind of Clair, which goes to show how much of an impact the Hawkeyes are having on his recruiting process.
"I've been thinking about it and being up there kind of made me want to do it then," he admitted. "But I'm going to keep waiting it out and if nothing changes by August, I will be pulling the trigger (for Iowa)."
