Iowa Staffer Chic Ejiasi Hired Away By The Tennessee Titans

Iowa Director of Player Development Chic Ejiasi accepts new job with the Tennessee Titans.

Iowa has lost another staff member. Kelvin Bell was promoted from his role to the recruiting coordinator position previously but now another vacancy has been created.

Hawkeye Director of Player Development Chic Ejiasi has been hired away by the Tennessee Titans of the NFL to be their Director of Player Engagement. Ejiasi was the first to hold the Director of Player Development role for the Iowa Hawkeyes and did so for eight years. Ejiasi was on the staff at Iowa for 10 years and was a 4-year letterman as an Iowa football player. He was an administrative assistant before being named as the Director or Player Development in Iowa City.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz issued comment on the departure of Ejiasi.

"Chic has been a valuable member of our staff for the past decade," Ferentz released. "He has been involved in this position on our staff from the ground floor. Chic has contributed to the development and growing of the position, while becoming a key contributor to our overall success, both on the field and in the community. We wish Chic and Ellie all the best in their move to Tennessee and the NFL."
