Iowa hosted a ton of prospects across three different classes for their annual rivalry game against Iowa State on Saturday. The visitors all got a taste of the Hawkeyes as they watched them dominate the Cyclones under the lights in Kinnick Stadium.
One of those visitors was 2018 La Grange (Ill.) Lyons Township quarterback Ben Bryant. He currently holds offers from Wisconsin and Central Michigan. His time at Iowa put the Hawkeyes in contention.
"It was great," he said about his visit. "I really liked the atmosphere and hwo the Hawkeyes played. I really like everything about that program."
Iowa has yet to offer Bryant but he's among a few that they're considering for that honor at quarterback in the 2018 class.
"They said that their quarterback coach will be coming to one of my games and I'm one of a couple that they are keeping a close eye on," Bryant explained. "They would probably offer after the season depending on how their quarterback coach likes me. They said that they are very interested."
An offer from the Hawkeyes would put Iowa in a good spot to land Bryant's services.
"I'm highly considering them," he admitted. "So if they do offer they would be high on my list."
Bryant plans on visiting Iowa once again after the season.
