Iowa is expected to make the defensive line an emphasis yet again in the 2018 class and they have some great choices to choose from. One of those is Blue Springs (Mo.) lineman Daniel Parker. He was once a Missouri commit but has already opened his recruitment back up.
Parker was in town as the Hawkeyes blasted Iowa State in Kinnick Stadium under the lights by a score of 42-3. And now Iowa is reaping the benefits on the recruiting trail from that performance, showing Parker a great time in Iowa City.
"It was fun," Parker said. "It definitely met my expectations of what it would be like."
It was a sellout crowd for the CyHawk rivalry and that was a big draw for the 6-foot-3, 270 pound lineman.
"I loved how loyal the fans were," Parker pointed out to Scout.
Was it enough to push Iowa over the top? Parker explained that and his top list of schools.
"As of now Missouri is still number one," he shared. "But Iowa is definitely in my top 3 along with Nebraska."
Parker is being recruited as a defensive end by Iowa.
