Week Two: NFL Alumni Report

Dylan Burn of Hawkeye Insider examines how some of the former Hawkeyes fared in week two of the NFL season.

Several former Hawkeyes were in action on Sunday during week two of the NFL Season.  Lets see how some of them fared.

*Karl Klug had a really nice day.  He recorded four total tackles for the Tennessee Titans, which included a sack in the Titan's one point win over the Detroit Lions.

*Adrian Clayborn came up with two solo tackles as the Atlanta Falcons beat the Oakland Raiders by a touchdown.

*Christian Kirksey had another nice day for the second straight week.  He recorded seven total tackles, including one for a loss as the Browns fell to the Baltimore Ravens after leading by 20 in the first quarter.

*Mike Daniels was extremely active on national television last night against the Minnesota Vikings.  He recorded four total tackles, one sack, and two tackles for a loss in a close game against their division rivals.

*Micah Hyde recorded a couple tackles for the Packers as well in that Sunday night game.

*Former tight end, C.J. Fiedorowicz caught just one pass for one yard, so not a very big day for C.J.

*Anthony Hitchens tallied two total tackles in Dallas' win over the Washington Redskins.

*Chad Greenway recorded two tackles as the Vikings opened up their new stadium with a win over the Packers.

*I did get a chance to watch the Sunday night game and I thought Packer OT, Bryan Bulaga did a solid job against some athletic pass rushers for the Vikings.  It seemed like it was so loud in there that both tackles had to look in to see the ball snapped as opposed to hearing Aaron Rodgers make the call.  That might have had something to do with the couple of sacks they did give up.

All-in-all, it wasn't a very active Sunday for some former Hawkeyes.
