Kirk Ferentz updates the Iowa injury report for the Nebraska game.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz updated the injury report ahead of the Nebraska game. Here is what we learned.

*Safety Miles Taylor is healthy and ready to go. It is unknown who will get the start between him and senior safety Anthony Gair

*Defensive tackle Nathan Bazata continues to progress. He played last week and will play this week but isn't 100 percent.

*Cornerback Greg Mabin is still out. He is questionable for the bowl game depending on how his rehab goes. Freshman Manny Rugama gets the start again.

*Offensive tackle Ike Boettger is questionable but he's improving. He has a chance to play this week against Nebraska. If not, Levi Paulsen will get the start again.

*Offensive tackle Cole Croston will not play. They'll have to hope he can return for the bowl game.

*Tight end George Kittle will play this Friday. He's not 100 percent and it is not known how effective he can be but he will play.

*Wide receiver Matt VandeBerg will still not play anymore this year. He did meet with the media and he will apply for a medical redshirt. He is confident that he meets all the requirements and will be back next season.
