Jason Scales of Valley HS (West Des Moines) is a threat on the field at all times, and it's that ability that has many schools knocking down his door.
"I've heard from the four schools that have offered me," Jason said. "Really, there is nothing new with me. I'm just sitting back and looking everything over."
"I have not scheduled any visit yet, but it is likely that I'll be there. At this point, I haven't set up any visits with any of the schools. I will be doing that soon, though."
Scales helped WDM Valley start off 1-0 this past Friday.
Kyle Mitchum of McDowell HS (Erie, Pa.) ranks as one of the East Coast's premier prospects. With calls beginning last week, there has been no shortage of time spent speaking with coaches for Mitchum.
"I've pretty much just heard from the 10 schools still on my list," Kyle said. "I'll be narrowing my list further here in a bit, and setting up official visits.
It seems pretty likely that one visit will occur in two weeks, though.
"Iowa has invited me for the game on the 20th against Arizona State, and I'm pretty sure I'll be attending. I know they plan on having some of their top guys in town that weekend."
Last Monday, Anthony Turner of Chaminade-Julienne HS (Dayton, Ohio told LionNews that he planned to make his final decision either last week or this week.
"I'm still debating," Anthony said Sunday evening. "Hopefully, it'll be done by the end of this week."
