Iowa Football: WI WR Isaiah Westfall Will Camp with Hawkeyes, Hopes For an Offer

Wisconsin Rapids (Wisc.) WR Isaiah Westfall updates recruitment, camp schedule for the summer.

Isaiah Westfall was one of several prospects in attendance for Iowa's Spring Game a few Friday's back. He has yet to pick up an offer from the Hawkeyes, but he hopes that changes soon.

"Iowa was great." Westfall told Scout about his spring game visit. "I was very impressed with everything they had to offer. I liked everything about the place."

The visit for Westfall was his first to Iowa City and a return trip is already in the works, Westfall admits. He is planning on getting back to Iowa City this summer to camp with the Hawkeyes and he cites that he'll be in search of an offer.

"Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan State are my top ones right now," he admitted when asked if he was pulling for offers from any schools in particular. Westfall is also receiving interest from UNI, Western Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota State, Purdue, and Notre Dame at this time.

Camps can be big for guys like Isaiah who have yet to receive any offers. It gives him an opportunity to showcase his abilities to select coaching staffs and then possibly earn an offer. You see it all the time.

Along with the Hawkeyes, Minnesota and Michigan State are the other two schools that Westfall really would like to camp with over the summer. He believes he'll take four total and that those three schools will each fill a spot. The fourth has yet to be determined at this point.
