As Josh Clark first reported today on the ‘HN Clubhouse' premium members message board, one of the Top 100 players in the nation will be visiting Iowa City this weekend in an ‘unofficial' fashion.
Chase Patton of Rock Bridge HS in Columbia, MO will most likely be making the drive up to the River City to take in the Iowa football program in its game against Michigan.
The 6-4, 200-pound Patton is the 12th best quarterback in America, according to TheInsiders.com. He runs a 4.75 40-yard dash. Clark is also reporting that Patton has set up an official visit to Iowa City for December. There is still a slight chance that he may not decide to make the drive to Iowa City tomorrow, but at this time, he is planning on heading north to take in the game.
Patton as offers from Iowa, Missouri, Tennessee, UCLA, Kansas State and others and he attended the prestigious EA Sports Elite 11 Quarterback camp this summer.
Making an official visit this weekend is Dwayne Jarrett from New Brunswick, NJ. The 6-5, 190-pound wide out runs the 40-yard dash in the 4.5 range. He has offers from nearly every perennial power in college football, and the Iowa Hawkeyes were able to get him to commit one of his five unofficial visits to Iowa City.
Jarrett is the lone ‘official' visitor that we are aware of, and joining Chase Patton as an ‘unofficial' guest will be Adrian Arrington of Cedar Rapids. Iowa and Michigan are two schools in his top five.
