"Hoops in the Heartland" Tournament

Van Coleman's FutureStars Basketball will host the First Annual FutureStars / Auto Glass Center "Hoops in the Heartland" Tournament on the campus of the University of Iowa, October 12th-14th, 2001.
The inaugural tournament field will feature both quality teams and players from across the United States, who will contribute to "Hoops in the Heartland" becoming "The Premier Fall Tournament in the Midwest!"
This year's field features teams from eight different states: Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana and California.
There will also be some of the nation's top seniors and underclassmen participating in this year's tournament. Here are just a few of the big name talents that will be in attendance this weekend.
