Chris Vaughn Looks to Narrow Favorites

In the recruiting scene, anyone will tell you that it's better to underestimate a player rather than rank him too highly. That could be said in regards to wide receiver Chris Vaughn. One of the nation's best kept secrets, the 6-foot-4 205-pound athlete returned home from his official visit to Notre Dame this weekend. Now, he looks to narrow his list in preparation of a decision.

"I really liked my visit to Notre Dame," said Christopher Vaughn. "They have a lot of tradition there, and I really like Coach Willingham. Everything from touchdown jesus to the golden dome was just great. The visit really made my decision tough, and I must say that I'm really not favoring anyone right now. I want to narrow my list to two or three schools here in the next day or so, and its between Iowa, Notre Dame, UCLA, and Boston College."

Vaughn has a lot of positives to say about each school, but will now have to focus on finding the negatives.

"I want to play winning football, and right now Iowa has the best team. They need a guy to come in at wide receiver next fall, too. Notre Dame and UCLA both have great traditions, and are football legacies. Boston College is close to home. I have a really tough decision to make."
