What We're Hearing:Notes from 3 Days in Iowa City

Hawkeyenation.com publisher Jon Miller is back from FanFest 2004 and after spending three full days ensconced in and around each crevasse and corner of the Iowa football complex, having spoken with numerous players and coaches and hearing more than a few solid nuggets, he has compiled eight pages worth of notes.

It was quite a weekend in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. Jon has compiled his notes on the ‘Chalk Talk' sessions from FanFest 2004 where Iowa coaches Phil Parker, Norm Parker, Carl Jackson and Darrell Wilson gave in depth presentations on the inner workings of Iowa football.

Also, coaches and players were available for all FanFest attendees to speak with, and more than a few interesting stories were shared, including some players to look for on the gridiron next year, interesting stories about the ‘moxsie' and toughness of Drew Tate that you will not want to miss, and much, much more.

More than eight pages of Word and more than 3,000 words have been compiled, and these notes appear exclusively in the HN Clubhouse forum, our message board for website subscribers. CLICK HERE TO READ THIS POST
