Hawkeyes Offer Another Illinois Offensive Lineman

As we have been saying for the past several months, the state of Illinois will have several highly regarded prep football players in the class of 2005. Offensive line is certainly a position of strength for next year's seniors in the Land of Lincoln. Iowa is in on many of these players, including David Moosman

It's beginning to look like the state of Illinois could be looking at one of the top offensive line hauls in the Midwest this year.

Two years ago, the Land of Lincoln produced All-American Mike Jones (Iowa), Martin O'Donnell (Illinois), James Ryan (Illinois) and a few other top lineman.
,br> In 2004, Dan Doering, Andy Laue, Dace Richardson and David Moosman will all be highly recruited.

Moosman, a 6-foot-4, 260-pounder from Libertyville, Illinois already has four scholarship offers.

"Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa and Wisconsin have all offered me a scholarship." Moosman said.

"My favorites are Michigan, Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.

"I've been to Notre Dame for a junior day. I've been to Illinois a couple of times on unofficial visits. I'd like to go to Iowa and Michigan soon."

David Moosman is also a standout wrestler for Libertyville and he'll be one of the favorites to win the heavyweight championship next season.

Moosman says he'll camp at Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Michigan and Penn State.
