Iowa Strongly Interested in Missouri Athlete

One theme becoming more and more popular with this potential recruiting class is recruiting athletes that can play multiple positions on the field. The Hawks have once again targeted their efforts on one of these types of prospects coming from the state of Missouri.

Dedrick Harrington (6'4 215) from Mexico, MO is one of the top athletes in the country. With country coming from all around the country, Dedrick has his options, but you can bet he is a fan of the BigTen conference.

"The BigTen passes the ball a lot and as a potential WR in college, I like that fact," stated Dedrick. "Iowa is one of the BigTen schools I like because I see they are getting better. They are a program on the rise."

Dedrick is wide open at this time, but he does have some impressive schools courting him at this time like, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio St., Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Tennesee, UCLA, and Arizona.

"I want to make sure that I fit in with the team and program. I want to be on a winning team and I want the chance to play at the first opporunity. I have no preference of what position I play, but most schools are telling me WR or OLB."

Dedrick is one of the top athletes Iowa is after this recruiting season and you better believe they'll be putting forth much effort in trying to assure a visit from Dedrick. There is tough comepetition, but like its been said, once they get to Iowa City its hard to leave.
