Lance Reams 6-4, 280, OL, Centralia, MO

What do you think of your camp performance?
"It was good. I had coaches telling me I did real good, and I think I did a pretty good job."

Had you ever been to Iowa City before?
No, this is my first time. It's great here, the weather is great and the people are great. I hope to come back sometime. It is certainly a school that I will look into."

(Note: In talking with two high school coaches who worked this area (OL's), they feel that Reams could be a solid player. "He was a kid that had that extra heartbeat. We felt he was one of the top three, if not the best, linemen in the camp. When he did a drill, he carried it beyond the whistle - tough to find a kid like that.")

What is your opinion on the University of Iowa and the football program?
"Intensity, man. This team hits people on camera and are fun to watch. I hope to get up here to a game sometime."

Where does your recruitment stand right now?
"Central Missouri, SW Missouri, Tulsa, Kansas State, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Emporia State are schools I have heard from. I want to hear from Iowa, I think it would be a great place to play."
