Greg Offerman, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound athlete from Charles City, Iowa is a prospect to watch in 2004.

Offerman was moved up to the varsity as a sophomore and started every game as a wide receiver and as a free safety.

This past year, Greg was moved to quarterback and played linebacker on the defensive side of the ball.

Offerman won the 400-meter low hurdles the past two years at the Drake Relays and that has opened the eyes of college recruiters.

"Everyone is basically recruiting me as an athlete." Offerman said.

"I don't have any offers yet. Iowa and Harvard are the only two schools to call me in May.

"My favorites are Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas State and Notre Dame."

What's on the agenda for Greg Offerman this summer?

"I'm going to Iowa's senior camp but that's about it right now. Iowa's talking to me about playing tight end or wide receiver. I'll play wherever I fit in."

Besides being a track standout, Offerman also letters in basketball and baseball.
