One of the most dyanmic skill position players in the sunshine state, Jessie Hester, Jr., will be making the move from Wellington high school to Belle Glades Central this coming fall.
"My father went to Central, and that is always were I wanted to go when I was a kid," said Hester. "The competition is a bit better there, and it will present me a new challenge before I head off to college."
Hester currently sits with five offers.
"I have offers from Miami(FL), Georgia, Maryland, Iowa, and Florida International," said Hester. "Pittsburgh and Ohio State have been showing a lot of interest, but I haven't seen anything about an offer, yet. From what I have perceived, Florida State doesn't seem to have a lot interest in me, but I'm not shutting the door on them or anyone else."
It was previously reported the Hurricanes sat at the top of his list. Is that still the case? "Yes, I'd say I have the most interest in them right now basically because I talk to them more than anybody else."
Still, others will have plenty of time to catch up as Hester is in no rush to make his decision.
"I'm going to take some official visits, and decide after the season. I don't care about distance or how far I have to travel. I just want to show what I can do on the field, and I want to be in a good social environment. Really, just feeling comfortable is what will matter the most as playing time is not a big issue because if a coach believes I should red-shirt than it is in my best interests."
