Lenix also plans to officially visit Michigan State on December 17th and insists that he will take all five visits.
"I want to take all five of my visits so I'm able to weigh all my options," said Lenix. "I'm going to take my other two visits in mid-January, and I'll choose between North Carolina, Ohio State, West Virginia, and Pitt. Ohio State just keeps telling me to be patient, and that they may have an offer for me."
"Those are my two favorites as they were the first two programs to show me real interest," added Lenix, who is being recruited by all schools at either outside linebacker or safety. "I've been following both of them for quite some time now, and they have both been very persistent in recruiting me."
Lenix claimed no preference to what position he plays on the defensive side of the ball, but says his eyes popped open when Iowa's coaches talked about him carrying the football.
"Iowa has even talked to me some about playing running back after I got a few carries this fall. The coaches keep telling me it is a good place to go, and a good coaching staff to play under. They have told me that I'll have an excellent chance playing as a true freshman," stated Lenix.
How will Lenix be able to separate his suitors is what appears to be the biggest question if he indeed takes all five official visits.
"I'm going to go down on all my visits and will let that make the biggest indication of my final thoughts on the school," Lenix said. "I want to see how I get along with the players, and how I would fit in with the coaching staff. I want to be in a good environment and just have a comfortable feel overall."
