The Iowa Hawkeyes received a verbal commitment this morning from Scout.com three star running back Corey Robertson.

"I called Coach (Kirk) Ferentz this morning, and committed to the University of Iowa," said Robertson. "He was glad to have me aboard, and Iowa is just the place where I have felt the most comfortable the entire time. I really meshed well with their players, and you have to like the outlook of the future."

Robertson is the 15th known verbal commitment for the Hawkeyes. As well, Iowa is expected to land a few prospects who will be announcing their decisions at the Scout.com US Army All-American game.

"Iowa told me that if I come in and work hard, I'll have the opporunity to play early. I know it is all up on me, and how hard I work this spring and summer," added Robertson.

Some of you remember that Robertson had wanted to come to Iowa during the summer after visiting the campus and taking in a camp, but his parents advised him to go through the official visit process.
