Justin Edwards Comments on Iowa Visit

Justin Edwards returns from Iowa visit.

In the game of recruiting, it all comes down to a feeling. In the case of Justin Edwards, the feeling just was not all that good this weekend in Iowa City.

"You know, I just didn't feel at home in Iowa City," said Edwards. "It was a whole new landscape to me, and the atmosphere was something I just am not use to. Right now, Iowa is behind TCU and Kansas, but I have to go home to think things over, and I told the Iowa coaches I'd let them know my decision within a couple of days."

Edwards said there were a few highlights to the visit, though.

"I really liked the facilities there. The people were real cool, and of course, my cousin Lee Gray is the on team. He just told me to follow my heart, and that people are different in how they view each place."

"Iowa is also recruiting me as a cornerback, and I've played free safety my entire life. I would get some early playing time, but that is a huge transition to make," stated Edwards.
