"Iowa has a real good business school, and I enjoyed touring it," said Moore. "They have some nice facilities, and the students really accepted me. The basketball game was kind of boring since they blew them out, but overall it was a good visit."
He did not leave Iowa City without having spoken with Iowa head man Kirk Ferentz and perhaps the Hawkeyes second most effective recruiter in Chris Doyle.
"Coach Ferentz tried to get me to commit a little bit, but he basically just said they need running backs, and they want me," added Moore. "He said he liked my agility and versatility that I show in catching the ball out of the backfield, and said I'm the kind of back the NFL likes, as well.
"They have a good strength program with Coach (Chris) Doyle, who has you take an exam when you get there to learn what you need to work on the most. He does a great job in really increasing your strength and flexibility."
