Nate Schiccatano, a 6-foot-3, 220 pound, running back from Catawissa, (Pa.) Southern Columbia visited Penn State last week and this week, he's headed to South Bend, Indiana and a visit with Notre Dame.
We're nearing the finish line in the 2002 recruiting race and it seems to be wearing on the prospects especially Schiccatano.
"Nate isn't taken any calls tonight." Said the father of Nate Schiccatano. "When we came home from Penn State, the phone rang off the hook.
It's crazy. It seems like everyone wants to be the first to get comments. Nate was on the phone until late last night with coaches. We just decided that for at least tonight, he's not going to take calls.
The Penn State visit was fine. Notre Dame called and coach (Tyrone) Willingham said that Nathan was the ideal back they were looking for. So we said we better go take a look.
We'll go to Notre Dame this weekend and after that nothing is set up. Michigan State is still in the picture. Ohio State was just at the house. Iowa is still in the picture."
Schiccatano is a super athlete that can contribute to any program early. Projects as a running back but could play several positions at the next level.
Will Schiccatano Visit Iowa?
