E.J. Biggers has continued to see his stock soar on the recruiting trail in gaining offers from several top-notch programs.
After previously taking official visits to Penn State and Kansas, Biggers now has three visits remaining.
"E.J. will be officially visiting Western Michigan this coming weekend," said head coach Jeff Bertani. "He knows their offensive coordinator real well from when he recruited one of our players to Northern Illinois. After that, he will be making trips to Ohio State (1/14) and Iowa (1/21)."
Looking back at his first two official visits, each school went in a different direction.
"He just wasn't that overly impressed with Penn State, and has pretty much ruled them off his list," added Bertani. "Kansas, on the other hand, is probably his top school right now. He really liked it up there, and went up there with a few Miami prospects in Dustin Forston and LeRon King that have given Kansas a commitment. Coach (Dave) Doeren from Kansas came by the school today, and just wanted to see E.J.'s timetable for a decision as they near running out of scholarships."
It appears both Big Ten schools will be given a fair shot at Biggers, though.
"Iowa is probably #2 on his list right now simply because they have recruited him the longest and been on him from the start. Coach (Phil) Parker has done a tremendous job in recruiting him, and really shown that it is a family atmosphere."
"I know Coach Synder from Ohio State real well, and he got tape on E.J. pretty late in the game. He liked it enough, though, that he came down and offered him a scholarship. They are having some problems right now, but I know E.J. wants to check them out," stated Bertani.
Schools are primarily recruiting Biggers to play cornerback, but also have mentioned the possibility of playing free safety.
