"The coaches at both Michigan and Notre Dame told me they'd offer when I get over to their respective campuses for camps. If I do well, things should fall into place with both of them.
"I like coach (Scot) Loeffler (quarterbacks) at Michigan," he said. "He's in charge of recruiting the Cleveland area and he told me that coach (Lloyd) Carr really likes me. They've had such great success as a program with their wide receivers. If I were to go there I'd pretty much be set with getting to the next level, or with a job after college.
"I like the new staff at Notre Dame. Coach (Charlie) Weis is a great coach and you know they're going to be a stable program because none of those coaches will be leaving anytime soon. Plus the school is real similar to my high school.
"I think Iowa has a great college town atmosphere. I mean, the school itself revolves around Iowa football. They're always a top 25 program and their receivers always have a big impact on the team."
"Coach (Ken) O'Keefe (offensive coord/quarterbacks) is the recruiting coordinator for this area and he's been doing a great job at recruiting me," said Parris. "And I think that coach (Kirk) Ferentz is just an unbelievable coach. He's gotten a lot of respect from a lot of the NFL coaches that are out there. I've read some of the great comments they've made about him in some of the things I've read.
"Plus, I hear that when you're a player on his team he pretty much treats you like a son and that's good. My parents seemed to give me the okay on taking a visit out to Iowa this summer, so I'm really going to try and do that soon. I know that it's a great program that I can't go wrong with. They're really up there on my list of favorites right now."
Parris has been to JR Days at Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. "This summer I'm going to camps at Michigan and Notre Dame for sure. I'd also like to take unofficial visits to Iowa and Boston College before the summer is over.
"I still want to hopefully make my decision on a school before the season."
