Big Ten Tourney Preview

The Big Ten Basketball Tournament changes locations this year by moving from the United Center in Chicago to the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. That should create a home court advantage for both Indiana and Purdue. There is not a great team in the Big Ten this year which makes picking these game a total crap shoot. Let's roll...........

Thursday

Purdue vs Iowa. The Hawks are 0 for the road in the Big Ten this season. In addition, Iowa has only covered the Las Vegas spread one time in 2002. That means hold your nose and say P.U.

Northwestern vs Michigan. Wildcats are well coached. NW.

Minnesota vs Penn State. Minnesota with Rickert.

Friday

Indiana vs Michigan State. Normally, you would have to take Indiana on a home court. However, they lost to Wisconsin at home with Jeffries out. Jared is still not well while Michigan State is on a roll. Marcus Taylor is the best player in the conference the last two weeks. In a big upset, Spartans win.

Wisconsin vs Purdue. Wisconsin! Cinderella is still dancing.

Ohio State vs Northwestern. Ohio State has too much talent for the Princeton like offense.

Illinois vs Minnesota. Illini on a roll and the Gophers choked on Sunday against them by blowing a 9 point lead with three minutes left. Chief Illiniwek will dance after the game.

Saturday

Michigan State vs Wisconsin. Cinderella in glass slippers no match for Taylor and Tolbert.

Ohio State vs Illinois. Run and gun. Illinois has the numbers. Chief still dancing.

Sunday

Illinois vs. Michigan State. The Chief will have his best war chant going as the Illini "tomahawk" the Spartans.

BIG TEN CHAMPIONS: Illnois Fightin' Illini

Please do not wager one penny on the above picks. Lets hope for Hawkeye glory!
