Arvell Nelson Drops Ohio State; Iowa Leads

Cleveland (Ohio) quarterback Arvell Nelson (6-4, 175, 4.7) now says Iowa leads slightly over Wisconsin, Syracuse and North Carolina. All have offered.

"Iowa is the team with the slight edge over the rest of those schools in my top four," said Arvell Nelson, from Glenville High School.

"I've been communicating with the coaches there a lot more and just getting more familiar with them and their program. They've got two QBs that are going to be juniors this year, so depth is looking good for me there. Plus they have the major that I'm looking at, which is sports management. They're also just recruiting me the hardest," he said.

"I'm probably going to officially visit all four of those schools and then choose a fifth school to visit as well. Right now it's really hard to tell who that fifth school is going to be.

"I no longer have any interest in Ohio State. I'm not waiting on them to offer me because I realize that Antonio Henton (QB) is committed there.

Nelson claims he's got offers from all of the MAC schools, Indiana, Kansas and Purdue.
