Travis McBride: 'Iowa Recruiting Me the Hardest'

Pennsylvania running back Travis McBride (6-1, 195, 4.5) has a possible final four.

"Right now I'm thinking that I've narrowed that list down to Iowa, West Virginia, Tennessee (no offer) and Ohio State (no offer). I don't have a fifth school right now," said McBride, from McKeesport Area High School in McKeesport.

"All four of those schools are looking good to me and I don't have a leader out of them," he said.

"I like how Iowa is recruiting me the hardest and how they were my first offer. I definitely have to put them in there. They've just been coming after me for a while and they've done a good job at it.

"I don't know what it is about West Virginia, but I just like them and I don't know why. I'm really glad that they've offered me.

"The coaches at Tennessee and Ohio State I'm in contact with, and it seems like they're going to offer me. I like how Tennessee is a great running team and I think it was last year when they had both of their running backs rush for over 1000 yards each," he said.

"Ohio State is just a good program and I've always liked them. They're also good at putting their running backs into the League.

"I'm going to try and get out to all four of these schools for official visits. I could commit to a program at anytime really. I haven't given myself a specific timeline."
