The state of Iowa will have more prospects in 2007 that will receive a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes, but the Hawks cannot live on instate prospects alone. Illinois has traditionally been a solid recruiting base, but Iowa's neighbor to the south as been a different story. After pulling Mizzou's top prep in 2006 in addition to its fastest playerm Iowa will make Missouri a priority once again. Iowa landed the top rated prep in Missouri (Adrian Clayborn) and the fastest player in Missouri (Paul Chaney) in its class of 2006.
