Blue Ribbon College Football Forecast Announces Top 25 Poll, All-America teams
Washington State, Michigan, Georgia, Nebraska and Colorado round out the top ten.
Eight of the nation's 11 NCAA Division I-A conferences are represented in the poll. The Southeastern Conference leads with five teams, followed by the Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-10 with four each and the Atlantic Coast Conference and Big East with three each. Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference are represented in the poll by Louisville and Marshall, respectively.
Blue Ribbon has chosen Miami's Ken Dorsey as its Offensive Player of the Year, and Maryland's E.J. Henderson as the Defensive Player of the Year.
Blue Ribbon College Football Forecast, formerly known as Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook, is being published in 2002 by Brassey's, Inc. of Dulles, Va. The 384-page book, which features extended, position-by-position outlooks of all 117 Division I-A teams, will be available in mid-July at most major bookstores or by calling 800-775-2518 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EDT Monday through Friday.
