Illinois at Indiana: The Big Ten Network begins next year. This is a preview of what will become a staple for that station. It's the best chance for either team to win a Big Ten game this year. It's just unfortunate that this game will probably not be available on television…just one more year to go! INDIANA

Michigan State at Michigan: This is usually where the wheels fall off for Michigan State. It was the case last year, when they were undefeated heading into this contest, and lost by three points in overtime. They pretty much stunk it up after that and missed a bowl game. Michigan should be healthy this year, healthier than last year, and wins at home. MICHIGAN

Penn State at Minnesota: Have we said that Minnesota is going to stink it up this year? Yes, we have, but we said it again. A ‘rare' Big Ten road win. PENN STATE

Northwestern at Wisconsin: A battle between two of the youngest coaches in the NCAA. Pat Fitzgerald is in better playing shape right now than is Bret Bielema, but Bielema's Badgers are at home and they are a better team. WISCONSIN

Bowling Green at Ohio State: What, you expect me to break this one down? BLOWOUT! OHIO STATE

Purdue at Iowa: This one shapes up to be a quality game. The Hawkeyes are sky high after beating #1 Ohio State. Has Iowa ever defeated a #1 team? If so, it happened in the 1950's and was likely against Notre Dame. But it hasn't happened often, if ever. Purdue's great start and Top 25 ranking get Iowa's attention, and the Hawks beat the Boilers in a close one; how else is an Iowa-Purdue game at Kinnick supposed to play out? IOWA

Jon Miller's Predicted Big Ten Standings after Six Games

6-0 (3-0) Iowa
6-0 (3-0) Michigan
5-1 (2-1) Wisconsin
4-2 (2-1) Penn State
4-2 (1-1) Michigan State
5-1 (1-1) Ohio State
4-2 (1-2) Purdue
4-2 (0-2) Northwestern
4-2 (0-2) Indiana
2-4 (0-3) Illinois
2-4 (0-3) Minnesota

The Hawks and Wolverines appear set for a clash of unbeatens, but Michigan has to make a trip to Happy Valley next week. Ohio State has to travel to East Lansing in what could be an upset special. Iowa is ranked in the Top Five, Michigan is in that neighborhood, Ohio State is in the Top Ten, while Wisconsin makes the Top 25. Purdue and Michigan State are fighting to cling to the bottom of the poll.
