Q: Take us through the team's mindset. One day to flush it, what do you expect to do it this week in practice?
Shonn Greene: That's basically it right there. You get over the loss then get back on the road. We've got Purdue ahead, just thinking about how we can come up with some things to beat them. Just keep on the road.
Q: You talked last week about how it's a once in a lifetime game to play. You come into a game that could define either you or Purdue as far as where the rest of your season heads.
Greene: It's going to be a big test for us. It's coming after a hard loss. It's going to basically tell us where we're at as far as facing adversity and things like that.
Q: What's it going to take to get this offense in sync?
Greene: I think just doing what we know, that's playing to the best of our capabilities. I don't think we were quite working on all cylinders. I think when we get going as a team, we make things happen.
Q: How much have injuries affected you not hitting on all cylinders?
Greene: I don't think it's affected us that much. Injuries, those are going to happen, stuff like that. Next man in. Whoever's next, you just have to get the job done, just keep going.
Q: Still, you'd kind of like to know who that guy is next week. You've built up a relationship or pattern, you know everybody, where they're at.
Greene: That's chemistry, right there. Some guys, when the injuries occur, you just have to get the next guy in there and build the chemistry with that guy. It works both ways
Q: Ginn say anything to you after you blew him up on that kickoff?
Greene: No, I don't think so. I didn't hear anything.
Q: How do you view your role on this team?
Greene: I think I'm just a role player. I've got a job to do , I just try and get in there and do it.
Q: (A question about being 3rd on the depth chart, making a mark on special teams)
Greene: What our coach tells us, whenever you get an opportunity, you make an impression, I do that with special teams.
Q: You're going to get the ball every once in a while.
Greene: That's up to the coaches. I can't control any of that. They put me in when they feel like it's time to put me in. I'm just waiting for my time.
Q: Did Coach Parker try and get you to play defense?
Q: Talk a little bit about Purdue's defense.
Greene: I haven't watched much. I watched some film on Sunday on them. They play aggressive. They're a very physical team, they're good tacklers. Pretty good defense, a pretty good defense.
