Robinson Updates Potential Visits

Mason Robinson, out of Somerville HS in Somerville, NJ has begun scheduling his official visits, and intends to take them pretty quickly after the season is over. Read more in this premium recruiting update from HawkeyeNation.com

Mason Robinson, who had visited Michigan State in late September (Click here for a recap) said that the departure of Head Coach John L. Smith probably won't affect his decision process much. Robinson noted the campus as well as his interactions with the players as positives from his visit that still remain.

Robinson has scheduled visits to two other schools, with a third penciled in. He intends to visit Boston College on December 9th and Rutgers on December 16th. He hopes to solidify plans soon to visit Iowa on December 2nd.

Robinson also lists Michigan in his top 5, along with Michigan State, Rutgers, Boston College, and Iowa, but hasn't scheduled a visit yet.

Although listed as a CB, Robinson says most schools are recruiting as a RB. He said Iowa is the only school who may be looking at him for another position. Robinson did not express a preference for one position or another.

Robinson said he would likely wait until taking all visits before making his decision.
