"It went well," Pugh said. "I liked it a lot, it's nice. I enjoyed my time up there."
On his visit, Pugh spent some time with the coaching staff, hearing about how he could contribute to the offense at Iowa.
"I talked to the coaches, and we talked schemes, the plays and things," he said. "How I could fit in and help out, stuff like that."
When asked to describe what type of runner he was, a downhill guy or a cutback runner, Pugh hesitated.
"I don't know how to describe myself," Pugh said. "I do a little bit of both, so I don't really know that I'm any certain type of back."
Pugh said that despite his visit to Maryland this weekend, Iowa still leads over Maryland, and Toledo. He is also considering Kansas State, who may or may not be a factor in his final decision. All four schools have offered.
Pugh may take another visit this coming weekend, but hasn't confirmed that as of yet, and sounded doubtful.
Like so many other recruits, Pugh is expected to announce his decision on National Letter of Intent Signing Day, February 7th. We'll check in with him as he makes he decision.
