Cedar Falls finished the year ranked #5 in Iowa 4A, eliminated in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. Tindall finished with 1441 yards on 271 carries (5.3 YPC) and 20 touchdowns with only 2 fumbles, 1 lost. He earned 2nd-team All-Conference running back, earning 1st-team honors in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Metro Area.
"I had a real good year this year," Tindall said. "I kept injury free. Coaches just kept getting me the ball and I tried to be the best I could. I think i kept getting stronger and stronger as the year went on."
Even with such a good year, Tindall can find room for improvement in his 275 pound bench, 465 pound squat, and 4.48 independently hand-timed 40-yard dash.
"I need to improve on my upper body strength," he said. "I have a pretty strong lower body, just being able to pound of tackles more. I think speed plays a big role, so i need to get my time down and get stronger."
"I really enjoy Iowa," he said. "My sister was going to Iowa, I went down to a few games, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Both my parents went to University of Wisconsin-Madison. Just the top academic schools too, which can give me the best education."
