Iowa will hold a press conference in the Big Ten room Tuesday afternoon at 4:45pm. At 5:01pm, Iowa will announce its head coach. Multiple sources, including those who spoke with HN.com, in addition to CNNSI.com and ESPN.com are hearing the same thing, that Butler coach Todd Lickliter will become the next head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Lickliter was just named the National Coach of the Year by the NABC, and has led the Bulldogs to back to back Sweet 16 appearances.

This year, Butler knocked off an impressive list of teams, including Notre Dame, Indiana, Tennessee, Gonzaga, Purdue, Old Dominion and Maryland. Each of those teams qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Butler also suffered two close losses, at home to Southern Illinois in the Bracket Buster event, and to Florida in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament.
