(On the possibility of future offers)
"Everybody's saying the same thing. Come to summer camps, they want to see me in person. Kansas State definitely wants me in person before they offer, and Iowa's saying the same thing."
(On what teams see on film)
"They like my speed on film. We don't go against a lot of teams that pass, so they want to see me in pass drops and stuff."
Gamblin partially tore his hamstring less than a month ago at a Nike camp, and this was his first time back at full-speed since then, but you could tell there was still some rust, possibly re-aggravating it during his first attempt at the 40-yard dash. In position drills, however, he improved dramatically. Quick feet got him over and around obstacles and out of breaks quickly. In one-on-one drills his hamstring hampered him a bit, but he used his hands well to keep offensive players in front of him. It would have been great to see him at full-speed, but he should be healed up by the time mid-summer camps roll around.
