Riley Reiff, who verbally committed to the Hawkeyes in April 2007 has started to re-consider his decision after a visit to Lincoln this weekend.
Reiff was in town for the USC/Nebraska match-up and came away impressed enough to rethink his decision.
"I was still looking around," Reiff said. "I was still always open to listening to people, see what they had to say. I have to stick with this decision for the next four years of my life, I want to make sure it's the right place for me."
Despite the Cornhusker loss, Reiff was stunned by the fan support in Lincoln.
"The atmosphere was crazy," he said of Lincoln. "It was just real crazy down there this weekend."
Reiff said he has no timetable for his decision, and has not yet informed the Iowa coaching staff of his change of heart. We'll stay in touch with Reiff during the fall and update you with more news should it arise.
