Wayne Valley High School has a very talented two-way starter in Chris Pantale, but they also have a player who can hurt the opposing team in all three facets of the game in athlete Matt Dortch. Saint Louis University High (Mo.) coach Gary Kornfeld lately has had an inbox full of messages from reporters and recruiters, as word has begun to spread rapidly about the speed and athletic prowess of junior Ronnie Wingo. Reuben Johnson is visiting Tennessee for the South Carolina game. "Tennessee is a powerhouse and the SEC is a powerhouse conference," he said. "They always seem to have a great program. It's a great place to play football and I love their fan support. The school is huge and they always sell out their games. Marcus Cooper is still holding the same four scholarship offers and frankly, after watching him play it is a mystery why he has not been picking up more and more offers throughout the season. So far he and his Bloomfield High School teammates are off to a 2-2 start, however Cooper is putting up absolutely gaudy numbers on offense.   Full Story

Last season Derrick Jones carried 130 times for 980 yards and nine touchdowns and also caught nine passes for 124 yards and another score in only eight games. This year the Collegeville, Pa., native is on pace to absolutely shatter those statistics, but his main focus has been in the classroom to make sure he qualifies to play at the collegiate level.   Full Story

Although Willie Mobley continues to deny a leader, he does have a list of schools he'd like to visit. "I haven't set up any trips yet, but plan to do it soon," said Scout.com's No. 19 defensive tackle. "I've been real busy and didn't want to set up a date and have to cancel. There was no doubt Mizzou's impressive start and its sensational, nationally televised win was going to have a positive effect with recruits, including some who've already verbally committed but are not 100 percent sure of their decisions. Chad Sprayberry, a 6-foot-3, 228-pound, linebacker, from Oak Forest (Ill.) is one of the top defensive prospects in the Land of Lincoln. Sprayberry has a couple of scholarship offers and he's receiving mail and phone calls from several other schools including most in the Big Ten.   Full Story
