Recruiting Update caught up with previous visitors, LB Ray Lankford and RB Terry Washington, to get their current status. Also, Turk McBride informed on his travel plans to Iowa City this weekend and the reason he bumped the visit ahead of Michigan. That and more is available in the Recruiting Update.

Ray Lankford

"Ray had a tremendous visit to Iowa City," Ray Lankford, Sr. stated. "He was very excited about the education aspect with the communications program, and how excellent the football facilites were. He will be visiting UConn this weekend, and likely Syracuse in early January. After that, he will make a decision between those two and Boston College."

Terry Washington

"I made a visit to Indiana this past weekend, and it was cool. I'll be visiting Illinois this weekend, Wisconsin on the 20th, and Kansas on January 17th."

"I can tell Iowa's coaching staff cares about their players, and making sure they earn their degrees. The players were very down to earth there, also, and I thought it was a great environment."

Turk McBride

"I decided to push my Iowa visit up to this weekend. I will visit Miami(FL) on the 20th, and Michigan sometime in January. I had great visits to both Tennessee and Ohio State, and I'm giving Virginia a little consideration."

"I wanted to visit Iowa this weekend because I knew a lot of southern Jersey players were doing so. I will be joining my teammates Preston Brown and Elijah Robinson, and I know WR James Townsend as well. Any school has something to offer me, and I'm anxious to see Iowa."
