Quick Update on RB Terry Washington

Terry Washington had a change of plans during the month of December. After not being able to make his Illinois visit on the 13th; his Wisconsin visit was then cancelled on the 20th. Find out his January plans and if a decision could be forthcoming.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are still in search for another tailback, and one of their top choices is Terry Washington. After having a great official visit on the weekend of the Northwestern game, Terry has had the opporunity to explore one other Big Ten school and plans to visit one more plus Kansas.

"I had to take my ACT once again on the 13th so I'll have to re-schedule my Illinois visit for sometime in January," Terry said. "I also will be visiting Kansas on January 17th."

Terry had planned to visit Wisconsin this past weekend, but that visit was cancelled after the commitment of Albert Young.

"They told me they only planned to sign one running back, and they got one last week."

As previously stated above, Terry has already officially visit the Hawkeyes; in addition to the Indiana Hoosiers.

"Both visits went well," Terry added. "I was told Coach (Ron) Aiken called me yesterday, but I was not around. Iowa is one of the schools at the top of my list. I'm not sure when I'll make my decision. It could come sooner rather than later, or I may wait until after my visits."

Certainly, Terry has Hawkeye fans and coaches on the ropes with his upcoming decision. The St. Louis native, in the meantime, will be enjoying his holidays.

What is he asking for Christmas?

"I just want some money and a cell phone," Terry said laughing.
